Brother Ed was born in Hartsville, S.C. on
14 December 1944. His parents were Edward P. and Inez Dixon of
Hartsville, S.C.
Brother Ed has one sister and three
brothers.
He is married to Eve Dixon and they have five children and twelve grand children. They now reside at 408 Friar Tuck Way in Laurens, S.C. 29360. Brother Ed is retired from the U.S. Army after twenty two years and also retired from the United States Postal Service after Twenty Two years. He has been a member of the Eastern Star since March 1976. He has served as Worthy Patron of James B. Parrott #9 for eleven straight years. He has served as DGM to the Grand Lecturer, Marlene Wilds and District Deputy of the 6th district. He has been Master of Cross Hill Masonic Lodge three times and filled many other positions including secretary. He was elected Grand Sentinel in 2005 and is excited and looking forward to serving as Worthy Grand Patron. |
